During the editing of a recent car advertisement from England, a film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car - like a white mist. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained phenomenon in the film.
Click here to see the ad. Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and a white mist will be crossing just in front of the new car. The mist then keeps following the car along the country road. You will hear the editor's comments in the background when the ghostly mist first appears.
Happy Halloween!
The BBC on Monday reported that French caver, Gerard Jourdy, discovered a prehistoric art gallery in a cave of the Vilhonneur forest in November of 2005. Carbon testing and dating are being carried out in secrecy. While the newly discovered chamber is in the same neck of the woods as the famous Lascaux cave reported in about every art history book ever published, the paintings of this new discovery are believed to predate the Lascaux cave discoveries by 10,000 years.

Britt-Maj Wikstroem of the Ersta Skoendal University College in Stockholm had 20 women of around 80 years of age gather once a week for four months to discuss different works of art.
"The result was positive. Their attitudes became more positive, more creative, their blood pressure went in the right direction ... and they used fewer laxatives," she said.
A control group of 20 women who met to discuss their hobbies and interests once a week instead of art did not experience the same effects, she pointed out.
"There was a significant difference between the groups," she said, adding that the art group had continued to show positive effects many months after their last discussion.
Wikstroem has been studying the effects of art on people in different settings since the 1980s, including a study of how museum art hung in offices impacts on the employees working there.
"It's all about using art in a structured way," she said.

Try it for accuracy. Search for "indianapolis art center" or "partington" and then once your results are shown you can list your results by either "relevance" or "date".
Here is Google's statement on this new search service.
"Blog Search is Google search technology focused on blogs. Google is a strong believer in the self-publishing phenomenon represented by blogging, and we hope Blog Search will help our users to explore the blogging universe more effectively, and perhaps inspire many to join the revolution themselves. Whether you're looking for Harry Potter reviews, political commentary, summer salad recipes or anything else, Blog Search enables you to find out what people are saying on any subject of your choice.
Your results include all blogs, not just those published through Blogger; our blog index is continually updated, so you'll always get the most accurate and up-to-date results; and you can search not just for blogs written in English, but in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese and other languages as well."
Four years after planting our first grape vines, along with pounds and pounds of fertilizer, anti-fungicide, Japanese beetle spray and delicate pruning decisions, we finally had our first grape harvest.
Last year’s crop was hit with mold in the spring and the rest of the crop was consumed during the late summer by our local deer population. The year before that – in 2003, the plentiful fruit bunches just seemed to dry up in the mid-summer’s hot dry air.
Was it all worth it? Maybe - not sure - kind of I guess.
We’ll see I guess, next year.
Would I want a customer's name on my artwork? NO WAY!
Well one artist thinks so. A press release I found this week tells the complete story. This artist must not understand (or care) that his art will be around for years and years. Why would he want to share a signature with a customer who didn't put one brush stroke on the artist's creation?
Sell art prints instead - the customer can sign them anywhere they want to.
A flourescent green John Henry across the breaking wave in that beach landscape would look just great

FBI Art Theft Program: $5 million Reward
The Red Planet is about to be spectacular!
This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.
Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as 60,000 years before it happens again.
The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky.
